Single-Varietal, washed Catuai from Mauricio Paguaga’s farm Finca L’Andrea, in the region Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua. Grown at an elevation of 1350 meters.
This coffee is a crowd favorite as an approachable and consistent cup from Finca L’Andrea. The region is known for its high quality small lots of coffee. This coffee is wonderfully balanced and approachable with a nice acidity and sweet caramel backbone.
As a kid, Carlos would venture away from his home and ride his bike to swim in the waterfalls located in the area, right above the town of Mozonte, meaning people between the water and the hills.
Roaster’s Notes: Caramel, malt, grapefruit. Medium to full-body, medium acidity.
